Summer Adventures: Capturing Belgium's Hidden Gems from Ghent to the Ardennes

This summer I packed my camera gear and headed across to Belgium for a photography adventure that took me from the medieval charm of Ghent to the stunning landscapes of the Belgian Ardennes. Starting in Ghent with its incredible gothic architecture and canal-side views, I then ventured south to explore La Roche en Ardenne's fairy-tale castle ruins, the quaint riverside town of Durby, and the dramatic clifftop citadel of Dinant along the Meuse River. Each location offered something completely different - from Ghent's bustling city squares and historic buildings reflecting in the canals, to the peaceful forests and dramatic river valleys of the Ardennes. The rolling hills, ancient castles, and winding waterways provided endless photographic opportunities, whether capturing the golden hour light on medieval stone or the misty mornings over the forested valleys.
