Victory Chimp A.P.E Optics Studio Shoot
Recently had the pleasure of shooting Victory Chimp's A.P.E Optics Vega cycling sunglasses in a controlled studio setting - and what a fantastic project it was! As a commercial photographer based in Northern Ireland, I really enjoy when I get to work with outdoor and sports brands like Victory Chimp, especially when the brief calls for that clean, professional product photography that really showcases the design details. Working from my studio here in Northern Ireland, this shoot was all about capturing the sleek lines and technical features of these cycling sunglasses through authentic commercial photography. The studio environment allowed me to really highlight the wrap-around shield design and those updated 2025 features like the adjustable nose pads and reinforced construction. It's always rewarding when you can combine professional commercial photography with products that align with your own interests - and as someone who's passionate about cycling, I could genuinely appreciate the thoughtful design elements while creating lifestyle photography that speaks to serious riders.
As a cyclist myself, I have to say these Vega sunglasses really impressed me with their attention to detail.
